Is it a Contract?

In teachlegalenglish courses you examine, write on, and present the basic common law principles of contracting. You will debate the existence and enforceability of a contract in terms of its basic components - offer, acceptance, consideration, and intention. You will practice contract drafting and negotiating, drawing it up, and the use of standard clauses. You will review the language of contract assignment and the conditions where third-party rights may exist. You will study the structure of commercial contracts, licensing agreements, commercial leases and e-contracts. You will look and argue breach of contract and remedies, the types of damages and their applicability to particular cases.
