The writing task - Part I
For each task, you will need to be able to answer the following questions:
- what is your role in this task?
- who is the target reader?
- what area of law does this task deal with?
- what language will you need to discuss the main points in this task?
- what register will you use?

- who are you writing to, what are you writing for and what result do you want

- look at the five content points and work out what kind of functional language each one indicates
